Andrew @ Sylvia Park

Our Manager, Andrew in Sylvia Park is keeping himself entertained with lots of different activities. Some great ideas to steal for the remaining days/weeks. I love is very detailed plan at the finish line.

My Iso Bubble: My flat. 2 couples and myself. Yes I am a 5th wheel lol

Iso Outfit of Choice (obviously include sunnies): My go to Iso outfit is a matching two-piece set and of course my Alexander McQueens. (find photo attached)

Something I’ve done for the first time in Lockdown: Learning Te Reo Maori. I have been taking Maori language classes during lockdown. It has been so much fun and has been something Ive always wanted to do but never had enough time for. O I also shaved my head lol

The thing I find most challenging: Being a sociable person, i find it extremely challenging not seeing my friends and family.

The thing I find most enjoyable: I am really enjoying the reflection time in lockdown. ie meditation, yoga, reading, goal setting etc,

Top Tip: Be kind to yourself. There is no right way to do lockdown. Do what brings you joy.

Exercise or What’s that? Yes Exercise! Do some yoga or go for a walk. You will feel great afterwards.

Netflix must watch: I just finished 7 seasons of Mad Men (following american advertising in America in the 1960s) and that was great. Also you must  watch Handsmaid’s tale and West World.

Zoom or House Party or FB Messenger: All of them! Stay connected and call your friends and family as much as possible.

My first non- essential activity/purchase: Brunch in New Market at my favourite cafe (Bambina) then some retail therapy shopping at Sylvia Park (woop woop) then drinks and seafood on the viaduct (St Alice or Dr Rudis) while watching the sunset.
