Aimee @ Nelson

Aimee is our newest recruit at Sunglass Style and will be Store Manager in Nelson. After reading this diary, I’m trying to work out a way for her to cook me dumplings and a curry – they look delicious.

Welcome to the team Aimee.

My Iso Bubble: Me, (flat mates) – Georgia, Daniel, Ralph, Ben and two cats (fun fact, actually allergic to cats so that’s fun😅)

Iso Outfit of Choice (obviously include sunnies): fitness leggings, oversized tee and just any pair of oversized sunnies (still gotta try look chic while in so)

Something I’ve done for the first time in Lockdown: cooked a lot of meals from scratch, IE. curries, dumplings, and also had a go at baking (which I am absolutely terrible at, don’t ask me for baked goods team)

The thing I find most challenging: not being able to see my Dad, he’s a police officer and I would go and have dinner with him and my step mum once a week and walk their neighbours dog. But due to him being an essential worker, I’m not allowed in his bubble.

The thing I find most enjoyable: being able to go for multiple walks a day, I live semi rural and my street is very long with little neighbours, so walking a lot has been a blessing.

Top Tip: try new things, keep it interested, you’re in lockdown, nows the the time to step out of your comfort zone

Exercise or What’s that? Exercise 🙏🏻😍 even if it’s a 10 minute walk each day. Get that body moving

Netflix must watch: outter banks! Not too shabby

Zoom or House Party or FB Messenger: I have none of these, not even Facebook 😱 crazy, I know. A Snapchat videocall goes down a treat though!

My first non- essential activity/purchase: gotta be some form of take out! Probably KFC, reward me for all my walks😂
