Allie had just started with us before we went into lockdown but has kindly offered to be the first LEVEL3 Lockdown Diary Person. I’m loving her commitment to the #shoplocal when we move out into Level 2! Chekc out her tips for the next lockdown – Thanks for sharing Alex!! I mean Allie!!
My ISO Bubble: Myself, mum, younger sister, my dog and my cat
A few famous people Iβd like in my bubble (and why): Michelle Obama for some quality advice and inspiration, Lennon Stella or Noah Kahan so they could play music all day for my family and Tom Holland just to look at him haha.
ISO Outfit of Choice: Assortment of sweatpants or fun patterned pants and t-shirts.
Biggest difference for me between Level 3 & Level 4: Wayyyy more people are at the beach! Every time I go down to walk my dog (I’m lucky enough to live down the road from one) there seem to be more and more people there every day. Today I saw at least 3 surfers even though there were no waves!Β
If I could talk to my pre-lockdown self what advice would you give: Buy white paint because you’ve hardly got any and it’s quite an essential colour to have when following Bob Ross tutorials. Also make sure you read books more than scrolling through TikTok because an unreasonable amount of screentime will start to give you headaches.
Favourite Instagram to follow atm: Briar Nolet. She is an incredible dancer and has been posting great at-home workouts for dancers as well as doing baking on the live option for instagram stories.
Netflix (or similar) Must Watch: WHY WOMEN KILL. It is SUCH an amazing show, an even mix of comedy, drama, thriller, mystery and my family and I were glued to it for a week! There are 10 episodes so it lasts a while! Also Sanditon which is a period drama on TVNZ, Doctor Who and on Netflix: Anne with an E and Queer eye.
#shoplocal β an NZ Business Iβm going to support post lockdown November cafΓ© in Mairangi Bay (run by Daniel, they do Vietnamese traditional food as well as classic kiwi brunch foods!), Ike’s Emporium in Browns Bay, and MAE handmade shoes! (And of course encourage people to come to sunglass style)
PHOTOS: a screenshot of my friend and I who have video calls to work out together haha, my dog out for one of our walks, some dance practice at the beach, a makeup look I experimented with and a sunset from lockdown
