Genuine precious metal
Metal frames are electroplated with a layer of genuine gold or palladium. Gold-look frames are gold, silver-look frames are palladium. You can tell a customer exactly what’s in their hands:

“This metal is plated in real gold.”

Jewellery for your eyes
The designs come straight from Cartier’s jewellery house. Customers will recognise the design codes, such as the C Motif and the Panther; while details like a bevelled lens edge & the amazing colours mimic the properties of gemstones.

“Try it on and look at the lens edge. It catches the light like a cut stone.”

Hard to find
Very few doors in New Zealand carry Cartier, and we went through a rigorous approval process to be one of them. We hold one piece per style in store. If a style sells, we may be able to reorder, but there’s no extra stock on hand – what’s on the shelf is what we have.

The collection

• Décor C Classique: a capital C on the temples. All rimless, in gradient lens colours. Light and elegant, the sunglass of the moment.
• Panthère: the panther, Cartier’s best-known emblem. Glamorous and Bold.
• Double C: the interlocking C monogram. A signature Cartier look.

The price may be exclusive, but you can say it with confidence.

“It’s Cartier, it’s plated in real gold, and we have just one of this style.”

Then get the customer to try them on. Those gorgeous gradient lenses look best looking back at you in the mirror, not in the cabinet behind the glass!
